Hunters Bend Ride!
KinderCare parking lot, on the left at the entrance to Hunters Bend Elementary School, 2121 Fieldstone Parkway, (corner of Hillsboro Road & Fieldstone Pkwy.), Franklin 37069
This route takes riders from the north side of Franklin out for a nice run on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Once they've climbed the ramp up to the Trace, riders cross the Big Bridge and descend to Pasquo. Then they travel on the nice bike lane on Temple Road and along the lovely Old Natchez Trace.
What to Know:
The route is 25 miles and attracts both racers and regular riders, but it is NOT for novices.
While Fredia Barry and Scott Thurston lead the ride, there is no sweep, so riders are responsible for knowing the routes, as detailed below. Our leaders will make sure everyone who left the parking lot with our group has returned before they depart after the ride.
