Durk is starting Polar Bear Season with a fun ride down to Santa Fe.  It has some climbs but overall isn't too hilly.  We'll climb Woolard and Water Valley Road, and later Gaskill Branch up to Chestnut Ridge.  Then there's the nice ride in on Leipers Creek.  The full route is 46 miles, with a rest stop at the Santa Fe store at mile 28.

Polar Bear Premier - Long route - 46 miles - GPS

The Collegial route starts out the same way but continues all the way to Fly.  Then it comes home on the Old Trace, which should still be quite scenic.  It totals 33 miles.  Bob Whitmer will lead at a 14-15 mph pace.
