Today's regular HBC ride, previously scheduled for 9:00 from Fairview Elementary, is CANCELLED.  Light rain is moving into the ride area from the southwest, and roads will be wet. 

Thanks to Weldon for the prudent call!  We'll do the route on a brighter day!  And we'll hope for better conditions tomorrow.

When we last visited this area, the Concerned Citizens of Hickman County sent out a warning about the "Middle Aged Men in Spandex" who were parading on bikes down Pinewood Road around the communities of Bon Aqua and Lyles.  So this Saturday, Weldon is going to lead us in creating some more commotion in that region!  He has added a loop that should display plenty of vibrant fall colors.  And we'll have a rest stop again at Linita's, where lots of goodies are available.  The route is 56 miles, starting from Fairview Elementary School.  Here's the cue sheet:
