Burwood and Back

This coming Saturday Bruce takes us on jaunt covering some of the best roads to the south of Leipers Fork.

After the climb up Bailey, we will head over to West Harpeth then turn south on Sedbury Road (thankfully recently re-paved) towards Thompson Station.  We'll then snake our way west to Burwood where there is an optional stop (mile 18), before the climb up Mobley's Cut and down to Boston. The official rest stop will be here at the Davis General Store (mile 25). Then we climb Davis Holllow, take Natchez Trace to South Lick and head back to base via North Lick, Greenbriar and Leipers Creek Road.  The shorter route diverts at mile 29 using Bending Chestnut to get to Foxes, cutting off 9 miles and around 600ft of climbing
