Wintry Westward Winding!

This Saturday the temperatures are going to be down again, so Durk has prepared for us a relatively short route that takes in some familiar roads to the west of Leipers Fork. After warming up on the Garisson climb we shall head north towards Fairview on Oscar Green, Pinewood and Deer Ridge. There is the option to stop and warm up at the Fairview gas station (coffee and indoor seating available) before we descend Fernvale Road, climb Backbone and finally drop down into Leiper's Fork on Wilkins Branch. All done in 34 miles.

The start will be at 10am to allow the sun to give us a little lift in temperatures. The forecast might improve, but for now it looks like we'll find out who the real Polar Bears are!
