Thompson Station Stairsteps!
Thompson Station Church, 2604 Thompson Station Road East, Thompson's Station 37179

For our Saturday ride, Morgan Haslam has designed a memorable, different route, beginning at the church at the intersection of Hwy. 31 and Thompson Station Road, where we used to start the Harpeth River Ride many years ago. The church has ample parking, and Morgan has obtained permission for us to use it! Long-time HBCers have vivid memories of tough, hot centuries from there! Saturday promises to be pleasant and Morgan is taking us only 52 miles, but the course does have some hills! We'll do Perkins, Mobleys, Theta, Taylor, Gaskill, and Doc Robertson! There is a rest stop at mile 26 at the Santa Fe market. Those wanting a shorter ride may skip the extra western loop and take Gravel Hill down from Theta at mile 18, for a 32-mile total. Here is the cue sheet:

Other Saturday Options:
This Saturday brings the Clarksville Rotary Annual Metric (CRAM), with route options of 20 to 100 miles through the flat farmland of southern Kentucky. Virtually all serious area riders have done this course at one time or another and tried to set their land-speed record! Here's a link for information and registration:

This weekend also features the Horsey Hundred, a scenic ride through the rolling central Kentucky bluegrass region. It's large ride with rollers all day! Many HBCers have done it in previous years. There is no rider limit this year. Here's a link for information and registration:
