City to Country Cruise!

Monday after the 4th is a holiday for many folks, so we'll continue our HBC tradition of Urban Assaults on summer holidays. This ride is not so much an assault on the city as a showcase of some fun roads and even some challenging territory as we ride from The Parthenon out to the Grassland area and back into town. We'll make our way along Maryland Farms, Belle Rive, Manley, and then to Moran Road, one of the most scenic around. Then we'll head back through a corner of Percy Warner Park and Chickering Road. Larry will lead the ride. The route is 42 miles. There is a nice rest stop at mile 29 at the golf pavilion in Percy Warner. Here's the cue sheet:
