Sunday, Sept. 15 - 8:00 A.M. - Alternate Pancake Ride - Hunters Bend Elementary School, 2121 Fieldstone Pkwy., Franklin - The Club’s most classic event is the regular Sunday Pancake Ride from Fieldstone Farms over to Leipers Fork. Because of the construction surrounding the extension of Mack Hatcher and the closure of Old Charlotte, we are experimenting with some alternate routes, such as Jerry's last week. This Sunday we'll start at Hunters Bend as usual but will try a course similar to our club's Sunday rides a few years ago, on which we go out Carters Creek to Bear Creek. The 30-mile route then goes to Leipers Fork and back in by an easy course that avoids all construction. The Long option of 52 miles takes Bending Chestnut and Pinewood out to the great run down Pewitt and comes back by Fernvale and Hester Beasley. Here are the proposed routes for this Sunday:
