Tennessee Flèche (A 24-Hour Team Event) PDF Print E-mail

An Flèche is a 24-hour team randonnee event of 360K in length and sanctioned by ACP. Flèches are regional events whereby teams of cyclists all head to a common destination from various starting points. The traditional format for a Flèche is point-to-point, like an archer's arrow (flèche in French) flying toward its target. Teams must consist of a minimum of 3 members to a maximum of 5 members. Each team designs their own route and heads to a common destination set by the RBA. For more information on Flèches please visit the RUSA website.

It is suggested that each Team get a friend, a spouse, or a significant other to drop their Team off at the start and pick them up at the finish. Alternatively, Team members could park a vehicle overnight at the finish and ride to the start in another vehicle.

Registration:
Each rider will need to complete a Brevet registration form via Online Registration or by downloading and printing out the Registration Form. There are no registration fees.

Also, for insurance purposes, you must be a member of the Harpeth Bicycle Club. The HBC Membership Application can be found on our website. Riders will not be allowed to start a Brevet unless they are a club member.

Commemorative ACP Brevet Medals are available to RUSA Members who successfully complete an ACP Sanctioned 200K or longer Brevet. ACP Medals may be purchased at the RUSA Souvenir Store.
