MS150 Jack and Back!

MS150 BIKE TO JACK AND BACK! Registration for the Harpeth Bike Club team MS150 Bike to Jack and Back is now open!  Please join us on this most excellent two-day ride on the first weekend of October to raise money to benefit those with multiple sclerosis.  While doing so, you'll enjoy probably the best two day ride in our area, including a great party on the hill on Saturday night.  Interesting story - I learned last year one of the things the local chapter spends the funds on.  People with MS really suffer from the heat of summer, which causes major fatigue, pain, body part failure, etc.  MS affects people in all economic brackets obviously, including low income people that can't afford an air conditioner.  Your local chapter has purchased and installed air conditioners for some low income MS sufferers in our area.  Real simple concept, huge return.   The heat for a relatively healthy person like me is more discomfort - not a debilitator.   Our MS office does so much more with those funds - read more here. This year, we ask returning rider JaB veterans to bring a friend!  This is a great beginner's event and there's plenty of time to train for the mileage.  If you can't ride, help us recruit more team members, or consider supporting one of the riders.  Our team fund raising goal this year is $50,000 - which isn't even the team record for the event.  Hitting a number like that isn't easy.  Do you have fund raising ideas?  Do you have questions about the event or the team?  Email Pat Clements with your questions or ideas.
